    Oflate it is; one of the most popular sport in India. It is played with a bat and a ball of eleven people in each team and the sport has two teams. One team bowls and the other team bats the ball from the bowler and scores runs. They play on a level shaped field of grass. The play is between two ends known as wickets which consists of three stumps with two sticks connecting the stumps at the top and are called bail. The person who stands at the back of the wickets is called the wicket keeper and he is from the fielding team. The ;batsman turns to hit the ball with the flat side of the bat and tries to score runs running between the wickets. The man at the other end also should run fast to score and reach the wickesafely. A Test Match lasts for five days and a one day match is set with the number of over. The people who play cricket are cricketers. They wear white trousers, shirts with open neck and white boots with spikes. The wicket keeper and batsman wear long pads and gloves. The person who does the referee is called as an umpire. Cricket is a much sought out sport.

    All of us have a pair of eyes which are used by us to see the beautiful things in the nature and the happ- Enings around us. Eyes can see objects at a long distance for e.g. We can see the moon stars or planes flying at great heights. We can see the ships which area far off in the sea. This is the only o;rgan which has this quality with the help of eyes we appreciate so many things. A person who does not have sight is called a Blind man. When a person has itchingj or watering or swaollen eyes he should go the optholomogist and Take his instructions at the early stage to avoid any damage to the eyes. Generally after the age of forty all should have their eyes tested as they are prone to start loosing vision. One should not see bright light like the sun directly. People who working near the furnaces and who do weldings should have shields and do the work as they very easily harm the eyes. If the light is not proper during reading, writing doing handwork the people land up with headache which is the cause of the strain for the eyes. The television should not be seen in a dark room. The eye is like a camera.

    Insects are small animals like bees, ants, butterflies, moths, mites, fireflies, mosquitoes, grasshopper etc.But in the ocean where few insects are found they are found in all other places. Humans are always annoyed with them as their bites lands us in infections and deadly diseases. The mosquitoes are the chief carriers of diseases like malaria, dengue, etc. In cold seasons they are many. They are at time of of great value too as they pollinate many of our crop which provide us honey and other products. Insects are quite interesting and few of them are very colorful. They have no lungs they breath through the holes in their sides. They don’t have voices but make some buzzing noise and few can make their sounds heard quite a
    distance. The butterfuly, grasshopper, mosquito are commonly seen insects also the firefly. Most of them have enormous strength. Many do what we do. They also fight against one another. Most insects have wings and antennae. Though almost all insects are small in size they have beautiful colours. Some are so small that they can crawl through the eye of the needle. They have different shapes and structures. They are are the most beautiful amongst animals.

    What is Art? It is a skill of doing or making things. There are different types arts are classified. One who makes beautiful decoration pieces is called as he is well versed in decorative art. The study of philosophy, history in colleges is called applied arts. A person who ;is good in speaking is said he has got an art of talking. Graphic art is when he is good at printing. The general arts are music, dance which are called Fine arts. All humans have an art in them only they have to modify. Cooking,handwork, basket making, keeping the house, garden attractive is art. A person who has an artistic sense can make scrap also into a decorative piece. A person who has art can never keep himself quiet and relaxed. Sitting at home women knit so well ,what an art it is. Basic to put a rangoli infront of the house, dress oneself are all related to art. Verbal art is when the person is good at poetry, essay etc. Nonverbal is when it is music vocal, string, percussion etc. Art is considered as the highest value in our lives. It gives a lot of self satisfaction when a work of art is completed.Art gives pleasure and takes one mind off from troubles but it does not take us to any spiritual or philosophical state.     It is one of the important daily needs of a person, animal and plants as it gives us energy to work,play,think etc. It keeps us strong and healthy allows us to grow and without food anyone cant survive for a long time. Plants make their own food and give food for animals and human beings. Depends on the intake of food a persons thinking, behaviour also changes. Customs and religions also play a role in the food we eat. Vegetarians eat only fruits, vegetables, all varieties available and are a little sober in their behaviour and have a compassionate thinking. Non vegetarians eat killing animals. The requirement of food intake varies as per sex, age, kind of life he leads. Green leafy vegetable, milk, proteins, cereals form a healthy food. One should not over eat food however tasty it is. Food contains nutrients organic and inorganic. Inorganic are water and minerals. One should have a balanced diet or it will make him loose weight, become weak. Lack of nutrients one can also develop health problems. Food with lots of fat content are concentrated source. They are reserve energy source in us whereas carbohydrates are fuel foods. Indian homes in their food have a lot of medicinal value ingredients. Have a balanced food.

    A human being has five sense organs out of which ear are one of them. Each has its own importance.Lack of any one also gives us some displeasure. With eyes we see, we hear with ears, we smell with our nose, feel with our skin and with our mouth we taste. Ear is the organ which helps us to hear by which we have the pleasure of hearing what others talk, enjoy music and the happiness of speaking to our loved ones. It also protects us, to take necessary steps when we hear a blast or pick the child who is crying. It is very delicate and prone to injury or infection. A person whose ears don’t function to hear is called a deaf man. As age advances few people loose their hearing capacity. Infection of ears is termed as earache and give lot of pain. When a person has cold his ears gets blocked and he suffers from pain. Water enters while swimming or having a bath in the river. A doctor who specializes in ear disorder is called an OTOLOGIST. The bone cells near the ear generally cause earache. Never put any object to clean the ears, like hair pins, matchsticks they will create pain and infection. One should never slap on the ear as the eardrum gets affected and he becomes deaf. The cool breeze also gives earache so people better to wear ear plugs. Few people traveling by plane also suffer from earache as
    the elevation causes.

What we use for our bath we call soap and what we wash clothes, floors, dishes we call as detergents. Soap is in the form of cake or bar and detergents are in the form of grains of granules, liquid, bar. Detergents have certain advantages what soap doesn’t have. Like detergents have the ability to clean in all kinds of water. Soaps react with minerals in hard water form a substsance and don’t dissolve. Detergents do not leave deposits. We have to be hygienic and to avoid body ;odours and be fresh have a bath twice or thrice a day and this is with soap. They have chemical which destroy the germs which cause disease. Soap is used to polish jewelry, and to soften leather shoes and handbags. They shampoo their hair too with soap. In soap making the main ingredients are fats and alkalis. The fats are coconut oil or vegetable oil and the alkali is caustic soda. These days we get medicated soap where they use neem oil and soaps that contain glycerine which suits lots of skin types. Cats are more preferred as they kill rats, the most hated rodent in the kitchen, provision stores as it spoils everything and the cat being smart without the rat’s knowledge traps and kills. They have good eyes which glow in the dark and prefer a dim light as they can see well. They if trained can; oopen the door and ring the bell. They have a good memory. They remember people who are friendly to them and who are cruel to them. When they are happy they purr and when angry growl. The cats mew when they enter and leave the house. When they are scared or meet an enemy they arch their backs.The cat family also includes the larges ferocious animals like the lion the king of the forest, tiger, leopard and like. They have similar habits and clever hunters. They eat meat but house cats love milk and fish. They can jump over walls and climb trees. They do not require bath. One of the cleanest of all the animals. The mother cat chooses a dark place to give birth and it does not want its kittens to see the bright light as they can open their eyes ten days after birth. The Egyptians worship cat as Gods. Many people regard black cat as unlucky. A famous quote is ‘when the cat is away the mice will play’.
